Working alongside these magnificent animals during our Horse Powered Insight sessions is an immensely calming and mindful practise — no riding, just genuine interaction.

Also known as Equine-Facilitated Learning, Horse Powered Insight® is well-known for its mental wellness benefits, and it can also help you improve your public speaking skills, bolster your leadership capacity, and elevate your creativity.

What Will I Get Out of This?

No two sessions are the same, and every individual takes away a powerful learning experience that is unique to their situation. Generally speaking, however, the Horse Powered Insight® experience helps you reflect on challenges and opportunities you may be facing, confront obstacles that may be holding you back, and chart a course for a bright future.

What Happens During a Session?

During a Horse Powered Insight® session, you may find yourself grooming a horse, leading a horse around obstacles, doing breathing exercises in the presence of a horse, or simply observing a horse in a paddock.

Over the thousands of years that horses have lived alongside humans, they have adapted to accurately reflect our emotions and energy. Horses effectively provide insight into our mindset, demeanour, and behaviour, and when facilitated by a trained coach, can provide an extraordinary learning experience. 

Do I Need Horse Experience?

You do not need any experience with horses to gain from this unique and powerful experience. If you are nervous or fearful of horses, that is totally fine. This can be a very gentle and approachable process, and fearfulness will not impede your ability to make the most of Horse Powered Insight®.

Where Does This Take Place?

Lara Holliday leads Horse Powered Insight® experiences at Shore Hall Manor House, a 16th-century property nestled into 22 acres of bucolic English countryside. Easily accessible to London and major airports, the luxury of the manor’s accommodations and the tranquility of its gardens, orchards, and wood creates the perfect environment for reflection, connection, and growth. Clients are welcome to stay overnight to extend their experience by immersing themselves in the peace and tranquility of this extraordinary venue.

Cost: £175 per 90-minute session

Timing: Please contact us to schedule a session time that suits your needs

Cancellation: If you need to cancel your booking, please do so at least 7 days before the event date by emailing jo@shorehall.com. After that, we will be unable to offer a refund. To ensure the best learning experience, a minimum number of attendees is required for the masterclass to run. There may also be unforeseen circumstances which prevent the class from taking place. We will advise you within 72 hours of the event date where cancellation is necessary.
